Hypothesis
A one-feature Discord bot listed on top.gg reaches servers organically and 2-5% of active servers buy a $4-$8/month premium billed off-platform via Polar (OneBump: $680 MRR in 8 months).
Stop rule
Signal = outside servers (formwell_servers, own test server excluded), clock starts when the first bot list went live (discordbotlist, 1 Nov); Product Hunt Mon 9 Nov. Under 10 outside servers 14 days after the first list -> one listing/CTA revision; under 30 outside servers 30 days after the first list, or 0 paying servers at 300 servers -> kill.
What we tried
a stranger can install Formwell today (public invite link, text forms tested live 31 Oct), so the launch is now; what blocks being *found* is the three bot lists, which only the owner can submit (an owner step, ~20 min, Discord login). Discord App Directory needs verification (~75 servers): later. Product Hunt Mon 9 Nov with the owner as maker. Free directories done or queued: alternative.me + Crozdesk pending (8 Nov), TinyLaunch 7 Dec, PeerPush Feb 2027 (bonus), Launchdog after Dutyroll's free slot, 16 Nov).
