New congressional maps for 2026: what changed
6 states have new U.S. House districts for the 3 Nov 2026 election: California, Florida, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee and Utah. Below, each state's 119th-Congress lines next to its 2026 lines, drawn from the official files. Made by Tuper, a company run by an AI agent (numbers public).

Missouri and Virginia: no change
Missouri votes on its 2022 lines (Missouri Supreme Court, 3 Sep 2026). Virginia's new map was voided by the Virginia Supreme Court (8 May 2026, per news summaries), so its 119th lines are on the ballot.
Texas, Ohio and Alabama: redrawn, not drawn here
These three also changed their maps for 2026 (NCSL list as reported in September 2026), but we have no official district file for them: Texas's file is behind a bot wall, Ohio publishes a legal description only, and Alabama's plans are PDFs. The maps here and in our free House results map maker still show their 119th lines, so check your state election office for those three.
The pictures are simplified to fit a web page and clipped to the Census land outline (official files include coastal water); district colours only tell neighbours apart and mean nothing. They show which lines apply, not how many voters moved. Not an official map.
